Lavish Layers Pt. II
For this segment, I wanted to showcase how the simplest changes can make all the difference. We all have those days when we put together an amazing outfit, but after we wear it once we're worried to repeat the same look twice in avoidance of being seen, or photographed. Well, in this two-part segment I added and subtracted different items to show how to create a similar look without re-wearing the same exact fit.
Like I said in Part I, this cozy grey turtle neck crop by Laina Rauma I wear at least twice a week. So, I try to mix it up, never repeating it in the same exact way. I added a plaid flannel shirt by Old Navy that I tied around my waist to add that same bit of length and layering from Part I. Next, I added a vintage fur coat that's been in my family for generations. You can never go wrong with vintage fur. For the bottoms, I stuck with the same oversized men's pants from H&M, which are easily replaceable with any other black pant. However, you can catch me in these at least twice a week as well. They're cozy, and we all know black goes with virtually everything.
Finally I stuck with a few of the same accessories, keeping the same Sam Edelman combat boots. I got rid of the silver artifact cuff, but also kept the silver spike pendant by Cynthia Rybakoff, and a stack rings by TwelveOTwo. I also added a silver cuban link cuff to finish it off.
